Celebrating Africa’s Best: Winners of the 2025 Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards Announced

The winners of the 2025 Africa Supply Chain Excellence Awards (ASCEA) were announced at a wonderful Awards Dinner on the 7th August in the Montecasino Ballroom in Johannesburg, shining a spotlight on the most transformative, resilient and forward-thinking supply chain projects across the African continent.

Now in its fourth year, ASCEA recognises the critical role that supply chains play in economic development, health systems, sustainability and business success. This year, 69 entries were received from across Africa, with 47 progressing to the final judging stage and 40 named as finalists. The judges, comprising distinguished experts from across the supply chain field, voluntarily dedicated their time to evaluating entries that reflected innovation, excellence and real-world impact.

In just five years, SA Harvest has scaled from a single vehicle to a national supply chain across four provinces, delivering over 83.8 million meals and rescuing nearly 21 million kilograms of nutritious food. SA Harvest also took home the special Judges' Award at ASCEA this year, in recognition of the organisation’s exceptional overall impact.

These awards recognise and celebrate the exceptional work being done to advance and transform supply chains across Africa. The entrant’s dedication, innovation, and impact are helping to set new benchmarks for excellence in the supply chain profession – and inspiring others to follow the award winners example.

The 2026 Award programme will launch in November 2025 and the ASCEA team look forward to your entries.

Thank you to the 2025 Judges!
